A collection of Larry’s letters revealed a timeline of a young man who enlisted in the US Army on June 14, 1968 and was killed in action on September 16, 1969. Through his letters and extensive research, I quickly realized that everything he was and everything he knew during that timeline was not lost forever. I needed to know of the journey he had taken during this time in his life that in the end, would have a twenty-year-old man doing a job that would require him to lay down his life for his country.
